Knights Roll Through Monarch Duals, Eye Postseason Run

The Monarch High School wrestling team dominated the Monarch Duals, defeating Piper, American Heritage–Plantation, Florida Christian, Spanish River, and St. Thomas Aquinas.

The Knights are led by Tyler Metellus, who remains undefeated this season with a perfect 37–0 record. Didier Castillo paced the team with a 38–4 mark, while freshman Max Goldin and Ronnie Tannariello have combined for 51 wins. Aiden Loriston has posted a strong 26–6 record, and Rosie Klein returns after finishing last season as a state qualifier.

Next, Monarch will compete in the BCAA Championships before gearing up for the postseason, where several Knights are poised to make a run at a state title.
