After neither the North Broward Prep boys and girls varsity soccer teams picked up a win in their first game on Monday, they dominated less than 24 hours later for their first victory.
Boys Team
The Eagles played well in their opener but settled for a 1-1 draw. However, they responded with a 3-1 win over Miami Country Day High School. Mattais Rabbini had an incredible first half. After drawing a foul in the box to set up a penalty kick. Lucca de Oliviera converted to give the Eagles a 1-0 lead. Rabbini then used his speed to break loose and double the lead to 2-0. The Spartans cut the lead to 2-1, but NBP responded less than two minutes later, with Rabbini registering his second goal of the night for the team’s first victory.
