Clyde is a great buddy to have by your side. This brown and white American Bulldog is five, weighs 72 pounds, and has been at the shelter since June.
According to Broward County Animal Care, Clyde is the perfect companion. “A trip to Home Depot? Starbucks? PetSmart? Take him out for a day on the town, taking care of errands or winding down on a nice walk. He’s very people-friendly and will let strangers pet him and show him affection,” the staff said.
Clyde does well in the car and takes treats gently. He’s calm, loveable, and curious.
Currently placed with a foster family, Clyde is getting a break from the shelter environment and hopes his forever family will find him very soon.

To adopt Clyde (A2187432), foster, or take a dog out for lunch, email the shelter at foster@broward.org.
To schedule a meet-and-greet appointment and learn more about adoptable pets, email ACADadoptions@broward.org.
The Adoption Center at Broward County Animal Care is located at 2400 SW 42 Street, Fort Lauderdale, and is open Tuesday through Sunday from 11 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Adoptions are free and include spaying/neutering, vaccinations, a microchip, and a Broward County pet license tag.
