It took 13 tries, but the North Broward Prep boys lacrosse team won their first game of the season against Westminster Academy on Friday.
The Eagles scored a season-high 15 goals in their 16-5 win. Evan Finkle recorded five goals while Jacob Tannenbaum scored four. Logan’s Weiss and Austin Smith each netted a pair, while Landon Krasner, Nolan Corcoran, and Jacob Tannenbaum had one.
Next, the Eagles will look for their second win of the season on Tuesday on Senior Night when NBP takes on Palmer Trinity Hugh School for the second time this season. These two teams met on March 28 in the Falcons’ 6-4 win.
