It’s been quite a high school run for Max Freedman of North Broward Prep, and he made another run at a State Championship this year.
Coming off a title as a freshman, Freedman dominated once again this year and secured his spot in the State Championship. While his team won eight matches this year, he achieved success in both number-one singles and doubles.
He competed at the State Championship and was seeded second, earning himself a bye in the opening round. Freedman went on to win his quarterfinal Match 6-2, 6-1 before falling in the Semifinals in two sets to Quentin Gabler. He was eventually beaten in the final by William Freshwater.
