Incidents
The following is a summary of incidents and arrests reported by the Margate Police Department from Oct. 6 through Oct. 12, 2026.
Theft and Shoplifting
On Oct. 6, shoplifting was reported at 5555 W. Atlantic Blvd. The estimated loss was $102.
On Oct. 6, shoplifting was reported at 5441 W. Atlantic Blvd. The estimated loss was $586.
On Oct. 7, shoplifting was reported at 5555 W. Atlantic Blvd. The estimated loss was $218.
On Oct. 7, a separate shoplifting incident was reported at 5555 W. Atlantic Blvd. The estimated loss was $121.
Fraud
On Oct. 7, identity theft was reported on Golf Circle Drive.
On Oct. 8, fraud was reported in the 5200 block of West Sample Road. The estimated loss was $4,500.
On Oct. 11, attempted credit card or ATM fraud was reported in the 5400 block of West Sample Road.
Battery
On Oct. 6, battery was reported on Pinewalk Drive North.
On Oct. 8, battery was reported on Southwest 54th Avenue.
On Oct. 9, aggravated battery was reported on Rock Island Road.
On Oct. 10, battery was reported at 1027 N. State Road 7.
On Oct. 10, another battery was reported on Pinewalk Drive South.
On Oct. 11, battery was reported at 974 S. State Road 7.
Kidnapping/False Imprisonment
On Oct. 9, an incident classified as kidnapping or false imprisonment was reported on Southwest 11th Street.
Elderly Abuse/Neglect
On Oct. 9, elderly abuse or neglect was reported on Northwest 65th Terrace.
Trespassing
On Oct. 8, trespassing was reported at 2801 N. State Road 7.
On Oct. 9, trespassing was reported at 2556 N. State Road 7.
Criminal Mischief and Property Damage
On Oct. 10, property damage was reported at 5283 Coconut Creek Parkway.
On Oct. 11, criminal mischief was reported on Northwest 62nd Terrace.
On Oct. 11, criminal mischief was reported on Northwest 11th Street involving an incident that occurred between Oct. 10 and Oct. 11.
On Oct. 11, a separate criminal mischief incident was reported on Northwest 11th Street involving an incident that occurred Oct. 1.
Drug Offenses
On Oct. 10, a drug offense was reported in the 300 block of North State Road 7.
On Oct. 10, another drug offense was reported at Northwest 66th Avenue and West Atlantic Boulevard.
On Oct. 12, a drug offense was reported in the 800 block of Southwest 51st Avenue.
Traffic Offenses
On Oct. 8, an arrestable traffic violation was reported in the 6600 block of West Atlantic Boulevard.
On Oct. 9, a non-arrestable traffic offense was reported at Southgate Boulevard and South State Road 7.
On Oct. 11, an arrestable traffic violation was reported in the 6600 block of Margate Boulevard.
On Oct. 12, a non-arrestable traffic offense was reported in the 2400 block of North State Road 7.
Warrant
On Oct. 7, a warrant or pickup order incident was reported in the 4200 block of West Atlantic Boulevard in Coconut Creek.
Missing Person
On Oct. 10, a missing person report was taken in the 6500 block of West Atlantic Boulevard. The report covered the period from Oct. 4 through Oct. 10.
Lost and Found Property
On Oct. 9, lost property was reported at 3328 Confetti Lane.
On Oct. 10, lost property was reported at 5790 Margate Blvd. The loss occurred between Oct. 9 and Oct. 10.
On Oct. 11, found property was reported at 5555 W. Atlantic Blvd.
Suspicious Incidents
On Oct. 6, a suspicious incident was reported on Northwest 80th Avenue involving activity between Sept. 14 and Oct. 6.
On Oct. 6, another suspicious incident was reported on Margate Boulevard involving activity during October 2025.
On Oct. 7, suspicious incidents were reported at 1700 Banks Road, on Seminole Terrace and at 2500 Rock Island Road.
On Oct. 8, a suspicious incident was reported on Northwest 13th Street involving activity between July 22 and Oct. 8.
On Oct. 9, a suspicious incident was reported on Northwest 24th Court.
On Oct. 10, a suspicious incident was reported on North Temple Avenue in Indianapolis.
Domestic Disturbances
On Oct. 6, a noncriminal domestic disturbance was reported at 6237 Seminole Terrace.
On Oct. 7, noncriminal domestic disturbances were reported at 5600 SW Eighth Court, 7230 W. Atlantic Blvd. and 6990 NW 23rd St.
On Oct. 8, a noncriminal domestic disturbance was reported at 3371 NW 78th Ave.
On Oct. 9, noncriminal domestic disturbances were reported at 6720 Margate Blvd. and 5457 SW 11th St.
On Oct. 10, noncriminal domestic disturbances were reported at 6805 NW 30th St. and 7609 Sunflower Drive.
On Oct. 11, a noncriminal domestic disturbance was reported at 6206 SW Seventh St.
On Oct. 12, noncriminal domestic disturbances were reported at 6700 NW Sixth Court and 5700 Lakeside Drive.
Baker Act/Marchman Act
On Oct. 8, Baker Act or Marchman Act incidents were reported at 7310 NW 18th St. and 1410 NW 62nd Way.
On Oct. 9, Baker Act or Marchman Act incidents were reported at 6984 NW Seventh Court, 4975 SW Sixth St. and 277 S. State Road 7.
On Oct. 10, a Baker Act or Marchman Act incident was reported at 6601 NW 29th St.
Other Reports
On Oct. 6, an information report was taken at 600 S. State Road 7.
On Oct. 10, an information report was taken at 5050 SW 11th Place.
On Oct. 11, an information report was taken at 2585 NW 60th Ave.
On Oct. 12, information reports were taken at 1902 NW 78th Ave. and 5000 Coconut Creek Parkway.
Reports classified as assistance to another agency were recorded Oct. 6 at 5425 W. Atlantic Blvd.; Oct. 7 at 6984 W. Atlantic Blvd. and 5730 Lakeside Drive; Oct. 8 at 3018 San Carlos Drive; Oct. 9 at 611 Kathy Lane; and Oct. 10 at 2801 N. State Road 7.
Arrests
Kimarni Dante Cotto, 26, was arrested Oct. 6 at 5555 W. Atlantic Blvd. on a theft charge.
Corey Antione Demetri Young, 22, was arrested Oct. 6 at 5441 W. Atlantic Blvd. on a felony retail theft charge involving $300 or more.
Jada E. Gordon, 20, was arrested Oct. 6 on Pinewalk Drive North on a dating violence battery charge.
Willie Anthony Reynolds, 46, was arrested Oct. 7 in the 4200 block of West Atlantic Boulevard in Coconut Creek on a felony warrant.
Storm Octavious Tillman, 37, was arrested Oct. 7 at 2801 N. State Road 7 on a charge of disturbing the peace.
Everns Aly, 37, was arrested Oct. 7 at 5555 W. Atlantic Blvd. on a theft charge.
John Junior Crane, 57, was arrested Oct. 7 at 5555 W. Atlantic Blvd. on a first-degree petit theft charge involving $100 to less than $750.
Paul Junior Simplice, 47, was arrested Oct. 8 at 2801 N. State Road 7 on a charge of trespassing in a structure or conveyance.
Jessica Style, 21, was arrested Oct. 8 on Northwest 19th Street on a charge of theft of $50,000 or more from a person age 65 or older.
Hayley Michelle Stern, 27, was arrested Oct. 8 in the 6600 block of West Atlantic Boulevard on a felony charge of operating a vehicle at 100 mph or more while threatening a person.
Dustin Michael Eubanks, 37, was arrested Oct. 9 on Southwest 11th Street on a felony false imprisonment charge.
Reginald Renard Sweeney, 61, was arrested Oct. 9 at 2556 N. State Road 7 on a charge of trespassing in a structure or conveyance.
Joseph Joshua Khan, 24, was arrested Oct. 9 at 2534 N. State Road 7 on a charge of trespassing in a structure or conveyance.
Faraj Joe Saadia, 33, was arrested Oct. 9 on Rock Island Road on a charge of aggravated battery with a deadly weapon.
Janiyah Bostonnae Black, 19, was arrested Oct. 10 on Lakeside Drive on a dating violence battery charge.
Daniel Alexander Baugh, 19, was arrested Oct. 10 on Pinewalk Drive South on a domestic violence battery charge involving bodily harm.
Kendjison Charles, 22, was arrested Oct. 10 in the 300 block of North State Road 7 on a charge of possessing 20 grams or less of marijuana.
Amy Krista Allen, 45, was arrested Oct. 10 at Northwest 66th Avenue and West Atlantic Boulevard on a charge of possessing a controlled substance without a prescription.
Ingrid Vanessa Valdiviezo, 27, was arrested Oct. 11 at 974 S. State Road 7 on a domestic violence battery charge.
Isim Tony Taylor, 45, was arrested Oct. 11 in the 6600 block of Margate Boulevard on a felony charge of driving with a suspended or revoked license, third or subsequent violation.
Allen Mathieu, 22, was arrested Oct. 12 in the 800 block of Southwest 51st Avenue on a charge of possessing a controlled substance without a prescription.
