Monarch High School officially had four football players sign on Wednesday to compete in college.
Samari Reed is headed to Ole Miss University and had a historic high school career with Monarch. He won three District Championships and a Regional Title while recording 104 catches with 2029 yards and 25 touchdowns. He also had 98 carries for 947 yards and 12 touchdowns. Reid also had seven kickoffs returned for touchdowns, two interceptions, including a pick-six, and five sacks.
Bryan Auguste is signed with the University of Kentucky and shined on the offensive line protecting quarterbacks AJ Hairston and Jack Spaeder. Auguste also had 145 pancake blocks.
Antwaun Parnham will Play at Tulane University. He caught 750 yards and six touchdowns, threw a 25-yard completion, and had five carries for 143 yards.
Romando Johnson is signed with West Virginia University and was a star on the defensive side of the ball. He had 45 tackles, eight sacks, 20 tackles for loss.
