Inflatable at the Margate Fall Fest.
Miguel Dorante and his family enjoyed attending the Margate Fall Festival.
They visited a T-Rex exhibit and saw a lifelike dinosaur in a jungle setting. “I came with my wife and four children, and we had a great time. There was plenty of food and activities for the children,” he said.
The Shane Duncan Band performed under the Sports Complex Roof, and a wide variety of food trucks and stands were available. The festival featured inflatables, a hay play area, pony rides, a haunted house, and various contests for children. Many families and friends enjoyed spending an evening together. The Monarch High School baseball team had a booth and offered a raffle.
City Manager Cale Curtis was pleased with the event. “The weather was good, and we had a lot of good food. This was a great event,” said Curtis.
Shane Duncan of Coral Springs enjoyed performing with his band. “We usually play a variety of songs, but tonight we played country songs because it is a fall festival. We all had a good time, and I liked playing for this audience,” he said.
Commissioner Tommy Ruzzano said, “I love events like this; we had a big crowd.”
