Police said they arrested a man who shot a woman in Coconut Creek Thursday morning.
The shooting happened at 7:16 a.m. at Advenir South, a residential complex in the 3700 block of Cocoplum Circle, according to the Coconut Creek Police Department.
The adult victim was taken to Broward Health North to treat her injuries, police said. She was listed in stable condition.
Detectives in the case charged Saivon Cruse, 28, of Miami Gardens, with first degree attempted murder, possession of a firearm as a convicted felon, and shooting into an occupied vehicle, according to police.
Officers from the Miami Gardens Police Department took Cruse into custody, police said. He will be taken to the Miami-Dade County Jail.
