A woman angry over her ex-boyfriend’s new flame smashed out both tail lights of his car and etched the word “whore” into the side of the vehicle, court records allege.
Jennifer Sessler, 46, of 9720 Shadow Wood Blvd., was caught on video carrying out the Aug. 10 crime, causing $2,732 in damage, according to an arrest affidavit.
The victim, who told Margate Police he had dated Sessler for at least three years, “posted a photograph with his current girlfriend on Facebook [on Aug. 9] and believes that angered [Sessler],” the records state.
When police confronted Sessler about the crime, she denied involvement, telling them she was in Tallahassee when the vandalism happened.
Police said records showed Sessler was in Broward during the crime and did not drive to Tallahassee. They arrested the accused vandal on Sept. 14, booked her into the Broward Main Jail, and charged her with criminal mischief.
Records show she was released on a $1,000 bond and has pleaded not guilty.
