Margate Resident Brings Reggae Vibes to South Florida, Prepares to Release New Album

Paul Anthony is passionate about performing music with friends.

A Margate resident, he is the lead singer for Paul Anthony & the Reggae Souljahs, a band known for high-energy, original reggae.

“My music is relaxing and upbeat. I want it to be lively and fun so people enjoy it,” he said. “I aim to engage audiences and perform authentic reggae.”

Anthony was born in Boca Raton and has a Jamaican heritage. A graduate of Florida Atlantic University with a degree in music business and communications, he has worked to develop his musical talent. On May 1, he will release his album, Starszn.

Paul Anthony & the Reggae Souljahs perform throughout South Florida and frequently play city events. On April 18, they performed at the International Festival at Margate Sports Complex.
