Margate honored three firefighters for 25 years of service during the April 15 meeting.
Deputy Chief Daniel Rodriguez, Lieutenant Jonathan Valenti, and Firefighter Paramedic Michael Dunbar were honored for their time in the fire department. They received plaques for their service, and their families stood with them during the ceremony.
Rodriguez was promoted to deputy chief in December. “I love being a firefighter and coming and helping people every day,” said Rodriguez.
Valenti said he is proud to be a firefighter and loves to help the residents of Margate. “The fire department is a family for me,” he said.
