North Broward Prep has produced some incredible football players who have played collegiately and in the NFL.
They have another star with Anthony Mestre, who recently played in the Florida Athletic Coaches Association All-Star Game. During the game, he recorded seven tackles and had two pass breakups after his incredible senior year with NBP.
Despite winning only four games on varsity this season, Mestre averaged 7.7 yards per carry and finished the year with 864 rushing yards and eight touchdowns. He also added a receiving touchdown and scored 21 times during his three years on varsity.
Defensively, Mestre had 57 tackles this year, with three of them coming for a loss. He also had an interception in both his junior and senior years. Mestre is also a varsity baseball team member who won a State Championship last year and has offers to play collegiately at multiple division one schools.
