The Margate Police Department responded to various incidents and made multiple arrests between August 25 and August 31, 2026.
Incidents
Burglary
Value Storage at 5185 Coconut Creek Parkway was the victim of a business burglary reported Aug. 25. The incident occurred between Aug. 23 and Aug. 25.
Fraud
A fraud resulting in an estimated loss of $280 was reported on Kathy Lane on Aug. 25. The incident reportedly began Aug. 4.
An identity theft was reported on Country Club Drive on Aug. 28.
Theft
Goodwill at 2057 N. State Road 7 was the victim of a retail theft reported Aug. 30. The estimated loss was $60.
Bath & Body Works at 5445 W. Atlantic Boulevard was the victim of a retail theft reported Aug. 31. The estimated loss was $151.
Assault
An assault was reported at 900 N. State Road 7 shortly after 1 a.m. Aug. 26.
An aggravated assault was reported on Northwest 31st Street at approximately 2:53 p.m. Aug. 27.
Battery
A battery was reported on Northwest Second Street shortly before 1 p.m. Aug. 25.
A battery was reported at Celebration Place East at approximately 10 p.m. Aug. 25.
A battery was reported on Northwest 34th Street early Aug. 26.
A domestic battery by strangulation was reported on Northwest 24th Street at approximately 11:18 a.m. Aug. 26.
A battery was reported on Parkside Terrace shortly after 8 p.m. Aug. 26.
A battery was reported on Southwest 11th Street shortly before 9 p.m. Aug. 26.
A battery was reported at Toscana Place at approximately 10:34 p.m. Aug. 28.
A battery was reported on Northwest First Street shortly after 2 a.m. Aug. 29.
A battery was reported on Northwest Ninth Court shortly after 9 a.m. Aug. 29.
A battery was reported on Northwest Third Street early Aug. 30.
A battery was reported on Winfield Boulevard shortly after 7 p.m. Aug. 30.
A battery was reported on North Lakewood Circle shortly before 2 a.m. Aug. 31.
Drugs and Narcotics
A narcotics offense was reported at 800 N. State Road 7 shortly before 5:50 p.m. Aug. 29.
A narcotics offense was reported at 7700 W. Atlantic Boulevard shortly after 10:15 a.m. Aug. 30.
Driving Under the Influence
A DUI was reported at 7800 W. Atlantic Boulevard at approximately 2:35 a.m. Aug. 25.
A DUI was reported near South State Road 7 and Southwest Sixth Street shortly after 9 p.m. Aug. 31.
Hit-and-Run
A hit-and-run crash was reported at 7230 W. Atlantic Boulevard at approximately 3:42 p.m. Aug. 28.
Property Damage
Property damage was reported at 7950 NW 29th Street shortly before 1 p.m. Aug. 25.
Property damage was reported at 1550 NW 80th Avenue on Aug. 28.
The City of Margate was the victim of property damage reported at 7600 Margate Boulevard on Aug. 31.
Other Incidents
A trespassing incident was reported at HCA Florida Northwest Hospital, 2801 N. State Road 7, shortly after midnight Aug. 27.
A missing person was reported at 180 SW 78th Avenue on Aug. 26.
A death investigation was conducted on Holiday Springs Boulevard on Aug. 25.
Police investigated a kidnapping and false imprisonment allegation at Toscana Place on Aug. 28.

Joshua Daniel Dunn, 33, was arrested on a DUI charge at 7800 W. Atlantic Boulevard on Aug. 25.
Dean C. Holt, 64, was arrested on a domestic battery charge on Northwest Second Street on Aug. 25.
Joe Louis Riggins, 29, was arrested on a domestic battery charge at Celebration Place East on Aug. 25.
Bryon Kareem Khaleel, 38, was arrested on a DUI charge at 5485 W. Atlantic Boulevard on Aug. 26.
Gianna Ivett Rodriguez, 25, was arrested on a charge of assaulting an officer, firefighter or emergency medical worker at 900 N. State Road 7 on Aug. 26.
Emily Lynn Rodriguez, 28, was arrested on a charge of resisting an officer without violence at 1700 N. State Road 7 on Aug. 26.
Gema Flor Ward, 48, was arrested on a domestic battery charge on Northwest 34th Street on Aug. 26.
Monet Brittany Seivright, 37, was arrested on a charge of operating a motor vehicle without a valid license at 2450 Banks Road on Aug. 26.
Emilia Tobosaru, 28, was arrested on a theft charge at 5555 W. Atlantic Boulevard on Aug. 26.
Romeo Stefanita Tobosaru, 34, was arrested on a theft charge at 5555 W. Atlantic Boulevard on Aug. 26.
Amaya Tayshun Fulton, 21, was arrested on a domestic aggravated assault with a deadly weapon charge on Northwest 24th Street on Aug. 26.
Shayne Messam, 23, was arrested on a domestic battery by strangulation charge on Northwest 24th Street on Aug. 26.
Javed Adrian Ayube, 36, was arrested on a warrant at 5491 W. Atlantic Boulevard on Aug. 26.
Robert Michael Nieto, 48, was arrested on a domestic battery charge on Parkside Terrace on Aug. 26.
Jean Steven Hilaire, 51, was arrested on a domestic battery charge on Southwest 11th Street on Aug. 26.
Martin Joseph Cappello, 69, was arrested on a trespassing after warning charge at 2801 N. State Road 7 on Aug. 27.
Carl John Montanari, 48, was arrested on an aggravated assault with a deadly weapon charge on Northwest First Street on Aug. 27.
