The Monarch High School baseball and softball team wrapped up their season with senior nights, along with postseason play.
The baseball team wrapped up the regular season with four wins following victories over Boyd H. Anderson, South Plantation, McArthur, and Deerfield Beach High School. They also held Senior Night, which featured both Chase Wojcik and Van Maxwell, before competing against Olympic Heights Community High School in the playoffs, losing 4-3.
The softball team hosted Senior Night against Chaminade-Madonna College Preparatory School, but lost 5-4. Their seniors featured Janiya McThay, Mylie Carlson, and Savannah Curtis. During District Play, Monarch knocked out Coral Spring High School 11-0 after beating the second seed, but lost to West Boca Raton High School 13-2 in the final and finished the season 6-17.
