Margate families can get an up-close look at police and fire vehicles while enjoying some sweet treats during an upcoming Touch-a-Truck event.
Dandee Donut Factory in Margate will host the family-friendly event on Saturday, Aug. 22, from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Children will have an opportunity to meet members of the Margate Police Department and Margate Fire Rescue and explore some of the vehicles they use while serving the community.
In addition to the trucks and public safety personnel, the event will feature an ice cream truck, and each child will receive a free donut.
Dandee Donut Factory is located at 3101 N. State Road 7 in Margate.
The event is free and open to families.
