The City of Margate is leaf-ing no resident behind with its upcoming Tree Giveaway.
The City of Margate invites residents to its annual Tree Giveaway on Saturday, April 26, from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. The event will take place at the northwest corner of State Road 7 and Margate Boulevard and is open to Margate residents only.
Each residential address is eligible to receive one tree while supplies last. Residents must bring a photo ID and proof of Margate residency to participate.
Available trees include Yellow Tab, Crape Myrtle, Live Oak, and Citrus (lemon, grapefruit, or orange).
Vehicles must enter the event site via Seton Drive. Once a car comes to a complete stop, residents are asked to pop their trunk so that City staff can place the selected tree inside. Walk-ups will not be allowed.
