Cocogate rendering {City of Margate}
A new apartment complex will be coming to Margate.
During the November 5 meeting, the commission passed a resolution approving a development agreement with White Oak Development Group and Cocogate Partners for the development of eight acres located at 1308-1350 North State Road 7.
This will be a mixed-use project comprising one multi-family building with 287 residential units across eight floors and two retail buildings. Â White Oak plans to offer 41 residential units as affordable housing for tenants who qualify as hometown heroes. This includes health care workers, school staff, first responders, public safety or court employees, or childcare workers; military members or veterans with a Florida-based employer, according to city information.Â
The commission passed the resolution with no discussion.
