Through our joint effort with the Margate Police Department to share updates with residents, this is a summary of Margate’s crime and arrests through June 4, 2022.

Battery

A 70-year-old male was the victim of Battery on Person 65 Years Of Age Or Older on W 28th Ct on 06/01/2022.

A 23-year-old female was the victim of Battery on E Laurel Dr on 06/01/2022.

A 24-year-old male was the victim of Battery on Royal Palm Blvd on 05/31 /2022.

Fraud

A 19-year-old male was the victim of Fraud on Toscana Pl on 06/01/2022. Tot. Est. Loss: $6,500.

Homicide

A 30-year-old male was the victim of Homicide on Lakeside Dr on 05/31/2022.

Retail Theft

Sam Ash was the victim of Theft – Retail/ Shoplifting at 5460 W Sample Rd on 06/01/2022. Tot. Est. Loss: $3,600.

Walmart was the victim of Theft – Retail/ Shoplifting at 5555 W Atlantic Blvd on 06/01/2022. Tot. Est. Loss: $268.

Arrests

Frey, Thomas Eugene, 45, was arrested on charges of Moving Traffic Viol-reckless Driving 1st Off on N State Road 7/Margate Blvd on 05/31/2022.

Rybinski, Kyle Lee, 24, was arrested on charges of Touch Or Strike/battery/domestic Viol on Royal Palm Blvd on 05/31/2022.

Alexandre, Hans Michael, 26, was arrested on charges of Touch Or Strike/battery/domestic Viol on E Laurel Dr on 06/01/2022.

Norvil, Jaleah, 20, was arrested on charges of Damage Prop-crim Misch-1000 Dols Or More on Lakeside Dr on 06/01/2022.

Henriquez, Cristian Javier, 31, was arrested on charges of Battery-on Person 65 Years Of Age Or Older on W 28th Ct on 06/01/2022.

Thorpe, Antwan Tyrone, 43, was arrested on charges of Larc-petit Theft 2nd Degree 3rd Subsq Offense on W Atlantic Blvd on 06/01/2022.

Bushey, Tonj Ann, 39, was arrested on charges of resisting an officer on Coconut Creek Parkway on 06/02/2022.

Thompson, Regine Elizabeth, 26, was arrested on charges of Battery on SW 11th St on 06/03/2022.

Sanders, Corey Kentrail, 43, was arrested on charges of Burglary With Assault or Battery on N State Rd 7 on 06/04/2022.
