Selena Adams of the Coconut Creek High School track and field team is officially heading to Regionals.
Adams finished fourth in the 100 meters with a time of 12.45. She also came in fifth in the 200 meters, while Kahlia Exantus finished eighth and ninth on the track. The Cougars ended up coming in ninth place.
The boys had Godson Sinelin narrowly missed out on advancing after coming in fifth in the 100 and 200 meters. Juan Carlos Arocho and Jahar Brown also competed for the Cougars to help them finish ninth.
Next, Adams will compete in Regionals on Thursday, May 5.
