The Humane Society of Broward County in Fort Lauderdale is currently home to two adorable animals needing loving homes.
Adorable, sweet Roxie (ID 624084) wants to be part of your family. She is five years old, 42 pounds, and sadly lost her home because her elderly owner can no longer care for her.
Roxie likes to go on adventures and explore. We think she would love a family with kids who will play with her, and if you have a dog at home, a meet and greet would be suggested to ensure they get along. Roxie has a loving personality and wants to make memories with you.
Nine-year-old Bobby (ID 663770) would love to go home with you. After having a home for his entire life, someone in the family has now developed allergies. Bobby is a handsome fellow with a long black and white coat.
He gets along with people of all ages and other well-mannered pets. Please don’t pass him by just because he is mature.
If you’re interested in adopting Roxie, Bobby, or any other pet, you can complete a pre-adoption application on the Humane Society of Broward County’s website. If you have any questions, call the adoption department at 954-989-3977 ext. 6.
The shelter is open daily at 11 a.m. at 2070 Griffin Road in Fort Lauderdale. The vaccine clinic is available Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 11:40 a.m. and from 1 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.
