
Margate City Hall {City of Margate}
The commission approved an agreement for new cooling and ventilation systems during the July 2 meeting.
A bid was awarded to furnish and install six HVAC systems to Thinking on My World, Inc. for $82,570. Two systems will go to the city hall and the police department, two to the Northwest Focal Point Senior Center, and two to the Margate Sports Complex.
Margate residents will also have an opportunity to learn about work to take place on the city’s wastewater treatment plant rehabilitation project.
There will be a discussion and site visit related to the request for qualifications for work on the plant in the conference room at the Department of Environmental and Engineering Services, located at 901 NW 66th Avenue, on Monday, July 14, at 9:00 a.m. Additional action may include negotiating contracts for commission consideration, according to city information.
