North Broward Prep Football played an exhibition game in the Kickoff Classic on Friday Night.
The game was called before the conclusion, with the Eagles behind 21-7, but they were in the red zone right before the lightning. Eighth-grader Tromon Isaac shined in his debut, catching a long touchdown pass from quarterback Mason Chapman and recording an interception.
Next, NBP, who won five games last year, will play Somerset Academy in their first regular season game on August 25 at 3:30 p.m. The Panthers went 6-5 in 2022 and won 35-0 in the team’s opening game last year.
