The Margate Middle School soccer teams had terrific seasons, with one team qualifying for the postseason and another narrowly missing out.
The girls team finished as the Division 5 runner-up and qualified for the postseason before falling to Westglades Middle School 10-0. The boys team ended the regular season in a tie for second place and went to penalty kicks in their final game to decide who would move on to the postseason. However, Margate fell short and had their season come to an end.
