Margate Crime Update: Car Burglary and Child Abuse

Through our joint effort with the Margate Police Department to share updates with residents, this is a summary of Margate’s crime and arrests through Oct. 22, 2022.

Aggravated Battery

A 37-year-old male was the victim of an Aggravated Battery on E River Dr on 10/20/2022.

Auto Theft 

A 27-year-old female was the victim of Auto Theft at 5780 Lakeside Dr on 10/21/2022.

Burglary Conveyance

A 24-year-old female was the victim of Burglary Conveyance at 3415 Pinewalk Dr. N on 10/22/2022. Tot. Est. Loss: $1,270.

Burglary Residence

An 18-year-old male was the victim of a Burglary Residence on Nw 24th St on 10/20/2022.

Child Abuse

A boy was the victim of Child Abuse on Curry Cir on 10/20/2022.

Embezzlement

A 38-year-old female was the victim of Embezzlement on N State Road 7 on 10/21/2022. Tot. Est.  Loss: $6,474. 

Theft

Chevron was the victim of Theft – Retail/ Shoplifting at 5200 W Sample Rd on 10/18/2022. Tot. Est. Loss: $1,564.

Arrests

Sykes, Breanna Geneva, 24, was arrested on charges of Battery-cause Bodily Harm- Dating Violence on Festival Dr on 10/24/2022.

Williams, Micheal Lavon, 30, was arrested on charges of Battery-commit Domestic Battery By Strangulation on Toscana Pl on 10/24/2022.

Francis, Maliq Jevonie, 23, was arrested on Warrant charges for dealing In Stolen Property at 2700 N State Road 7 on 10/24/2022.

Oskarsson, Jessica Caroline, 33, was arrested on Touch Or Strike/battery/domestic Viol charges on W 24th Ct on 10/23/2022.

Ojeda, Samuel, 35, was arrested on charges of Larc-petit Theft 2nd Degree 3rd Subsq Offense at 5555 W Atlantic Blvd on 10/22/2022.

Deal, Crystal Nadin, 41, was arrested on charges of Agg Battery W/deadly Weap Domestic Viol on E River Dr on 10/20/2022.

Colwell, Joseph John, 38, was arrested on charges of Dui Ubal>.15 Or Acom By Pers< 18yoa on. W Atlantic Blvd on 10/19/2022.

Park, Michael Allan, 59, was arrested on Viol Injunction Protection Domestic Violence charges on NW 25th St on 10/19/2022.

Ward, Eugene, 27, was arrested on charges of Robbery-resid-home Invasion W/firearm Other Deadly Weapon on Lakeside Dr on 10/18/2022.

Janvier, Rabe Hedy, 32, was arrested on charges of Resist Officer-resist Detention Arrest Law Enforcement Ofc on NW 7th St on 10/18/2022.
