Margate-Coconut Creek Fire Rescue {Aiden Palmer}
A man was killed Friday when the vehicle he was driving crashed into a concrete pole in Margate, authorities said.
Margate Police officers and the city’s fire department responded to the single-vehicle crash at West Sample Road and Banks Road. Inside the vehicle, they found one person, the adult male driver, who was pronounced dead at the scene, a Margate city spokesperson said.
Margate Police traffic homicide investigators are continuing their investigation into the incident.
Additional information about the crash, including the name of the deceased driver, was not immediately made public Monday.
