Drawing on the excitement of Kamala Harris being named the presumptive Democratic Presidential nominee, the Coconut Creek-Margate Democratic Club is hosting a Summer Social to engage volunteers and supporters ahead of the 2024 election.
Representative Christine Hunschofsky and other special guests have sponsored the event, which is designed to bring together local residents, community leaders, and political enthusiasts.
The social, held on Tuesday, August 13, from 7:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Jasmine Thai and Sushi, located at 1785 FL-7 in Margate, promises an evening of conversation, networking opportunities, and community spirit.
Attendees will have the opportunity to meet and interact with local officials, discuss pressing issues, and learn about ways to get involved with the upcoming elections and candidates from the local to national level.
Light bites will be provided, and the first 30 attendees will receive a drink ticket.
“This Summer Social is a fantastic opportunity for our community to come together, engage in meaningful dialogue, and build stronger connections,” said club president Greg Gayle. “We look forward to seeing everyone and having a productive and enjoyable evening.”
Reservations are not required, but attendees can sign up for updates at CCMDCSummerSocial2024.
