The summer ends on a high note with a tribute to one of Rock ‘n’ Roll’s most legendary bands.
On Saturday, September 7, from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., the Margate Sports Complex located at 1695 Banks Road will host “Roll the Stones,” a high-energy salute to The Rolling Stones, as part of the Sounds at Sundown concert series.
“Roll The Stones” is a tribute band dedicated to the music of The Rolling Stones. The group – comprised of eight seasoned musicians from the South Florida music scene – offers an authentic homage to the Rolling Stones’ music. showcasing a deep love for the band’s catalog over five decades.
More than just a tribute band, “Roll the Stones” also features a horn section, percussion, and multiple backup vocalists.
Those planning to attend the Sounds at Sundown event are encouraged to bring blankets and chairs to help keep themselves comfortable enough to enjoy a night filled with singing, dancing, and delicious food.
As with past renditions of the Sounds at Sundown event, various food trucks will be on-site, serving up tasty snacks, meals, and desserts.
