It has been some start to the season for the North Broward Prep golf team, with the boys picking up a win in their latest match.
The Eagles defeated St. John’s Paul Academy, with senior Sean Richards leading the way, shooting an even-par 36 Monday afternoon. He is only two months removed from the biggest win of his career at the South Florida PGA Medalist Tour.
Sophomore Cruz Allegianis shot a 39, while Mac Lobdell had his best result in the rain-shortened South Florida PGA Prep Tour Event at the PGA Golf Club Wanamaker Course. He followed up his three under with a 40.
Cooper Roth continues his excellent season with a 4. He came in 2nd at the South Florida PGA Prep Tour on August 20, while Dominic Bossola and Filippio Martello each shot a 42.
For the girl’s team, they came in seventh place in their first tournament. Playing 18 holes, Aryanah Ahmad led the team with a 7. She was followed by Camila Terzoli, who shot an 8. Jesera Mendez, Mariano Herero, and McKenzie Hanna also competed for NBP.
