North Broward Prep football held their Spring game on Tuesday in preparation for the 2022 high school football season.
The Eagles played exceptionally well and picked up a 17-0 win over Pompano Beach High School. Zach Vidal returned an interception for a touchdown. Deandre Designor also scored and had an interception. He finished with 152 yards rushing, while the Eagles added a field goal in their win.
“We installed a new offensive system so we knew going into the game, there would be some missed assignments, but the effort was fantastic,” said Head Coach Rex Nottage. “We were very pleased with outcome and got the opputubity for everyone to play.”
NBP is coming off a season in 2021 where they went 3-6. Despite having 14 seniors from this team graduating, the Eagles still have many younger players returning and will begin their fall season with a game against La Salle High School at home.
