Support veterans while practicing your swing at this year’s 2nd Annual Fishing for Warriors Golf Tournament.
Open to the public, the tournament will be held at the Oriole Golf Club at 8000 Margate Blvd on July 20, 2023, with exclusive access to the green. In addition to golf, there will be plenty of food vendors, activities, raffles, and giveaways throughout the day.
The tournament is organized by Fishing For Warriors, a 501(c)3 Non-Profit Veteran Organization that focuses on healing veteran PTSD and trauma by connecting fellow veterans with a love for fishing.
“We call it ‘Reel Therapy,’ our founder John Lanier found the ocean was the best place for him to find solace after his service. I’ve seen these trips save lives, and our heroes deserve a moment of rest and relaxation,” said Jenni Gallaudet, Director of Operations of Fishing for Warriors.
Businesses interested in participating as a sponsor or attendee have several options:
Individual Golfer – $125
Sponsor A Veteran – $250
Golf Event Tent – $400
Tee Hole Signs – $100
Honor A Veteran Sign – $100
4some for golf – $450
Fish with a Veteran – $250
Direct donations are also appreciated.
Lunch and registration begin at noon, with the ‘shotgun’ starting at 1 p.m. As of July 13, only about three openings are left for participants. The event will feature a buffet dinner and raffles.
