The Gideons Motorcycle Club and Hope Floats Movement are teaming up to host a community event to assist children in need as they prepare for the upcoming school year.
The “Back to School Bash” will take place on August 5, beginning at noon, at the Margate Sports Complex, located at 1695 Banks Road.
Attendees to the event can expect a day filled with family-friendly fun, including raffles, music, and a range of free entertainment options for attendees of all ages.
Students attending the event will have an opportunity to score free backpacks, school supplies, and more.
In addition to the school supplies, families can take advantage of free haircuts provided by volunteer barbers, ensuring that the children not only have the tools but also look and feel their best as they return to school.
Hope Floats Movement – raises money by partnering with individuals, businesses, and foundations that want to make a difference in the community. They assist Gideons MC with their social day every third Saturday of the month, to go feed the homeless, provide hygiene products, and offer prayer since both organizations are faith-based.
Those interested in attending the ‘Back to School Bash’ can learn more by contacting event organizers at 954-664-7424 or by email at gideonsmcsocial@gmail.com or hopefloatsmovement23@gmail.com.
