With the District Championship approaching, the North Broward Prep boys and girls lacrosse team honored their seniors.
Boys Team
The boy’s team recognized ten student-athletes: Dylan Taylor, Zander Titcomb, Alexander Titcomb, Ethan Long-duet, Megan Desai, Jake Paul, Aaro Tuovinen, Bryce Katari, Joseph Gristea, and Michael Peralta Haua.
The Eagles also picked up their second straight win with their victory over Palmer Trinity High School. NBP won 11-9 and are headed into their final regular-season game with a record of 2-13
Next, NBP will play one more regular-season game before playing American Heritage School in the first round of the District Playoffs on Monday, April 11 at 7 p.m. This year, the Patriots are 8-2 and started the season out on an eight-game winning streak.
Girls Team
The girl’s team also won their game against Cooper City High School and are currently 7-8 this year,
The Eagles recognized nine players: Ava Cannold, Julia Glacer, Rachel Weiner, Dani Krul, Julia Swill, Sarah Lowe, Gabrielle Busi, Maya Shaw, and Lauren McGurn.
Next, NBP will have their playoff game against Cardinal Gibbons High School on Monday, April 11, at 4 p.m. The Chiefs are 12-2 and defeated the Eagles 14-4 in their lone meeting on April 1.
