New Recycling Dates

Didn’t get your recycling picked up on Monday?  I didn’t either.  I missed the mail-out that was sent out to everyone about this change.

Please note that this is our new collection schedule:

GARBAGE: PICK UP ON MONDAY & THURSDAY (no change)
RECYCLE: PICK UP ON THURSDAY (changed)
BULK/VEG: PICK UP ON MONDAY (changed)

New Cans

As you know, we will be receiving our new cans starting this month.  Right now thousands of carts are being assembled at a staging area in Tamarac’s Commerce Park so over the coming weeks they will be delivered to neighborhoods throughout the City.

The recycle carts are going to go over well here.  My children are counting the days they don’t have to schlep the recycling containers to the curb and we really need that bigger can for garbage as well.
