Margate Launches 2025 Photo Contest to Showcase City’s Beauty

The City of Margate is calling all local shutterbugs to participate in the 2025 Margate Photo Contest, offering residents a chance to highlight the city’s charm through the lens of a camera.

Submissions are open now through Monday, August 18, and the winning photo will be featured on the city’s social media platforms and newsletter.

Participants must be Margate residents, and there is no limit to the number of photos one can submit. Entries should be emailed to photos@margatefl.com.

What sets this contest apart is the voting process. Once the submission window closes, the community will have the opportunity to select the winning image.

City officials encourage residents to celebrate the beauty of Margate and share what makes the community special through photography.
