Margate will commemorate the 25th anniversary of the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks with a Patriot Day remembrance ceremony.
The ceremony will begin at 9 a.m. Friday, Sept. 11, at Firefighters Park, 2500 N. Rock Island Road.
Hosted by the Margate Fire Department, the event will honor the thousands of people killed in the attacks on Sept. 11, 2001, including the firefighters, law enforcement officers, emergency medical technicians and paramedics who died in the line of duty.
The ceremony’s theme, “We Will Never Forget,” marks 25 years of remembrance since the attacks.
