2025 Margate Egg Hunt {City of Margate}
Families are invited to celebrate the season at Margate’s annual Springtime Egg Hunt, where thousands of colorful eggs will be scattered across the fields for children to collect.
The 2026 Springtime Egg Hunt will take place at 9 a.m. sharp on Saturday, April 4, at the Margate Sports Complex, 1695 Banks Road.
This year’s event will feature 14,000 eggs filled with toys and stickers, continuing a popular spring tradition for local families.
Children will be divided into designated hunting areas based on age to ensure a fun and safe experience for all participants.
The fields will be organized as follows:
Field 1: Ages 2 and under
Field 2: Ages 3–5
Field 3: Ages 6–8
Special Needs Area: Open to participants of all ages
The city encourages families to arrive early and be ready before the 9 a.m. start time, as the eggs tend to disappear quickly once the hunt begins.
In addition to the egg hunt, families can enjoy a special appearance by Peter Rabbit, who will be available for photos during the event.
Attendees are encouraged to bring baskets for collecting eggs.
