Margate STEM Magnet Middle School welcomes parents for a night of learning about their children’s school experience at an upcoming Open House event.
Margate STEM Magnet Middle School will host their Annual Title 1 Parent Night Open House event at the 500 Northwest 65th Avenue school on Thursday, September 7, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
This event, aimed at fostering stronger mutual connections between parents, teachers, and students, will feature an evening filled with valuable information and opportunities for engagement.
The Parent-Teacher-Student Association (PTSA) will set up shop at the event, allowing parents to purchase spirit t-shirts and memberships on-site. Parents are also encouraged to consider signing up for Career Day, an exciting opportunity for students to gain insights into future career paths and professions.
The Open House allows parents to meet with their children’s teachers while at the same time walking at night in their children’s shoes as they retrace their class schedule.
Margate STEM Middle School asks parents to make the most of this experience by requesting a school map and schedule from their children, allowing them to navigate the school’s halls and better understand their child’s academic journey.
For the smooth flow of the event, parents are requested to report to their child’s first-period class by 6:10 p.m. This ensures everyone can maximize their time meeting teachers and gaining insights into the curriculum and classroom expectations.
