Minions: The Rise of Gru, or Minions 2, is Margate’s next Movie in the Park.
The 2022 animated movie is about an eleven-year-old Gru who dreams of becoming a supervillain, assisted by the Minions he hired to work for him.
Held on Saturday, January 20, at 6:00 p.m. at the Margate Sports Complex, located at 1695 Banks Road, the city recommends bringing blankets or lawn chairs to sit on and something to snack on while watching.
