The Margate Fair will open on the evening of November 21 and run through December 7 at 1000 State Road 7.
The event offers many of the rides and activities one would see at large county and state fairs.
Rides offered include the Cyclone, the Drop Tower, and the Music Express. People can enjoy several Ferris wheels, bumper cars, kiddie coasters, and other rides. There are a variety of carnival games that test skills and offer prizes. Traditional carnival foods include funnel cakes, fried Oreos, cotton candy, corn dogs, and ice cream.
Entertainment includes Circus Murcia, featuring high-wire artists, the “globe of death” motorcyclists, and an exciting cast of aerialists and jugglers. The Bob Bohm Magic Show offers comedy and audience participation.
People can experience being a star on stage by participating in the Be A Star Video Karaoke. There are on-stage lights and professional sound. Benjamin Jackson’s Hypnotist Show blends music, interaction, and fun as audience members become part of the main act. YC The Entertainer: Michael Jackson Tribute offers a show to pay homage to the King of Pop, according to the Margate Fair website.
The fair is open on weeknights from 6 p.m. to midnight; Fridays from 6 p.m. to 1 a.m.; Saturdays from 1 p.m. to 1 a.m.; and Sundays from 1 p.m. to 11 p.m.
