
Margate Police {Aiden Palmer}
The Margate Police Department responded to various incidents and made multiple arrests between February 17 and 23, 2026.
Incidents
Burglary – NW 24th Court
A victim reported that approximately two weeks prior, two white males approached her outside her residence. While she was speaking with one suspect, the second entered her home. She later discovered the residence ransacked and her wallet missing.
Theft – Dollar General, 700 S. State Road 7
An unidentified Black female wearing a white shirt and black pants left the store with two Febreze products valued at $12. The store manager wishes to prosecute.
Defrauding an Innkeeper – Crafty Crab
On Feb. 21 at approximately 10:52 p.m., two Black females and two Black males left the restaurant without paying their $281.27 tab. The business wishes to prosecute.
Arrests
Warrant Arrest – Walmart, 5555 W. Atlantic Blvd.
Taneisha Robinson, 39, was arrested on a capias warrant for petit theft.
Domestic Battery – Southgate Blvd.
Travis Phillips, 44, was observed pushing the victim into hedges along the roadway. The victim declined to provide a statement. Phillips was arrested.
Resisting Officer Without Violence – Rock Island Rd.
Marvin Pierrot, 18, was arrested after failing to cooperate during a traffic stop.
Domestic Battery – NW 29th Place
James Franklin Stromberg, 43, was arrested after intentionally reaching into the victim’s pocket and grabbing keys from her hand against her will.
Retail Theft / Violation of Probation – Walmart, 5555 W. Atlantic Blvd.
Ryan Johnson, 25, was arrested on an active warrant and violation of probation for robbery.
Dushun Robinson, 32, was also arrested in connection with the retail theft.
DWLS Warrant / Drug Trafficking – W. Atlantic Blvd. and Banks Road
Waunye’ Malik Brownlee, 25, was arrested on a driving while license suspended warrant and charged with trafficking 68.2 grams of methamphetamine.
Burglary of Residence – NW 66th Ave.
Jacqueline Kapper, 32, was arrested after entering a residence without permission with the intent to remove items. She later admitted to the crime at her residence on NW 29th Court.
Grand Theft Auto / Warrant – W. Atlantic Blvd. and Banks Road
Detectives conducted a high-risk traffic stop on a stolen Ford box truck taken from Margate.
Henry Holston, 39, was arrested for grand theft motor vehicle and driving while license suspended.
Charles Warren, 47, was arrested on an active warrant.
Both were transported to the Broward County Main Jail.
Witness Tampering / Violation of Injunction – NW 8th St.
Matthew Delaurier, 30, was arrested after sending threatening text messages in violation of an injunction.
Domestic Battery – Kathy Court
Jason Mullings, 40, pushed the victim onto a sofa during a physical altercation. The victim was transported to the hospital. Mullings was arrested and transported to BSO Main Jail.
Battery – SW 10th Street
Debra Maria Tomasello, 61, struck the victim during an argument. The victim declined prosecution.
Battery – Aztec Boulevard
Jenny Coulombe, 46, pushed the victim twice during an argument at a party. A notice to appear was issued.
Capias / Resisting / COV – 425 SW 64th Ave. (Southgate Park)
Bryan Cruz, 35, was arrested.
Capias / COV – 425 SW 64th Ave.
A juvenile was taken into custody after records revealed he was reported missing out of Pompano Beach and had an active warrant for grand theft auto. He was transported to the Juvenile Assessment Center.
Trespass – Walmart, 5555 W. Atlantic Blvd.
Hudson Vernau, 35, was arrested after returning to Walmart following a prior trespass warning. He was later released to a hospital under the Baker Act.
DUI – 1501 N. State Road 7
Tatianna Rivers, 38, was arrested after officers located her asleep behind the wheel and conducted a DUI investigation.
Grand Theft / Stolen Vehicle / Firearm – 5367 W. Atlantic Blvd.Â
Antoine Thompson, 24, was arrested for driving while license was suspended.
Devon Delgado, 27, was arrested for grand theft.
Police located a stolen vehicle at the drive-thru and confirmed a stolen firearm inside. Both were transported to BSO Main Jail.
