Margate Police responded to various calls through June 14. Below is a detailed account of the incidents handled by local law enforcement during this period.
Vehicle Theft
A black 2022 Dodge Challenger with tinted windows and red interior was reported stolen from 7230 W. Atlantic Blvd. between 1 p.m. on June 9 and 1 p.m. on June 10.
Vehicle Burglary
A MacBook Pro was stolen from an unlocked vehicle parked near NW 62 Avenue between 2 p.m. and 3 p.m.
Robbery
A man in his 50s with grayish hair reportedly stole items from Five Below at 3460 NW 62nd Ave. on June 14 and threatened a store manager with a knife.
A retail theft was reported at Dollar General, 700 S SR 7. A woman wearing a pink tank top and black pants left without paying for cleaning supplies.
Retail Theft
On June 14, a suspect, 38, was issued a Notice to Appear for petit theft after stealing wireless earbuds from Five Below at 3460 NW 62nd Ave. He was trespassed from the store and released on scene.
Battery & Domestic Violence
Emmanuel Charles, 26, was arrested for battery and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon (dating violence) at a residence on SW 51 Ave.
A woman reported being assaulted at a residence on SW 65th Ave. after drinking with the suspect, who punched and hit her multiple times before leaving the scene.
Ahmad Alotairi, 30, was arrested for domestic battery and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon at a residence on NW 76th Ave. He allegedly threw the victim to the ground and held a knife to her face. He was also Baker Acted.
Edwin Diaz was arrested for domestic violence after striking a woman with an open hand at a residence on Pinewalk Dr. N.
Drug-Related Arrests
Rene Danger, 53, was arrested at 7000 W. Atlantic Blvd. for possession of cocaine, driving with a suspended license (third or subsequent offense), and resisting without violence.
Martin Anderson, 28, was arrested following a traffic stop at 3000 N. State Rd 7 for possession of a controlled substance without a prescription. Officers found an Acetaminophen/Oxycodone Hydrochloride pill on him.
Joseph Quimbley was arrested at 900 S SR 7 for possession of narcotics, driving with a suspended license, and an outstanding warrant.
Driving Offenses & DUI Arrests
Kevin Pazmino, 30, was arrested for DUI at 5500 W. Atlantic Blvd. at 1:55 a.m. on June 14.
A male suspect was arrested for DUI at 6200 W. Atlantic Blvd. and turned over to BAT/BSO.
Torian Jackson was arrested at 6600 W. Atlantic Blvd. for fleeing and eluding and driving with a suspended license after leaving the scene of a traffic stop and abandoning his car.
Tamya Williams was arrested during a traffic stop at 499 N SR 7 for an active warrant.
Warrant Arrests
Vilkens Sajousse, 24, was arrested at 1200 S SR 7 on an active warrant for driving with a suspended license.
Rodney Murray, 23, was arrested at 3400 Banks Rd. during a perimeter assist with Coconut Creek PD for an active warrant related to “No Lodging.”
Jason Forbes, 36, was arrested at 2121 N SR 7 for resisting without violence after providing false identifying information during a bicycle/open container stop.
A male defendant with an active warrant for armed robbery with a firearm turned himself in to police.
Fraud
Dontrell Dukes, 36, was arrested for fraud at Synovus Bank, 5375 W. Atlantic Blvd.
