
Margate Police {Aiden Palmer}
The Margate Police Department responded to various incidents and made multiple arrests between March 31 and April 6, 2026.
Incidents
Criminal Mischief – Coral Bay Community:
Around 3 a.m. on March 30, approximately 20 electrical ground fixtures were damaged near 3101 South Bay Drive. The damage is estimated at $3,000, with repair costs around $4,000.
Bicycle Theft – NW 27th Street:
Around 2:12 a.m. on April 3, an unknown male stole an $800 bicycle from a driveway. The bicycle was later recovered using an AirTag.
Vehicle Burglary – Walmart:
On April 4 between 8 p.m. and 8:30 p.m., a purse left inside a vehicle at Walmart, 5555 W. Atlantic Blvd., was entered. A black iPhone 14, a Florida ID, and two credit cards were stolen. Surveillance footage is pending.
Arrests
DUI / DUI with Property Damage – 7700 W. Atlantic Blvd:
Matthew Mannion, 68, was arrested on charges of DUI and DUI with property damage.
Domestic Battery / Depriving Victim of Phone – South Lakewood Circle:
Humberto Contini, 48, was arrested after allegedly battering a victim and preventing them from using a phone.
Loitering and Prowling / Fleeing and Eluding / Possession of Burglary Tools – SW 7th Street:
Ty’Keithian Taylor, 18, was arrested after being observed with two other subjects who fled the scene.
Felon in Possession of Firearm / Probation Violation – 800 N. State Road 7:
Jaydon Ahmad Stubbs, 22, was arrested after a traffic stop for a tint violation led to the discovery of a loaded Glock under the driver’s seat. Stubbs is on felony probation for burglary.
Grand Theft Auto – 5413 W. Atlantic Blvd:
Daisha Lee Brinson, 28, was arrested in connection with a stolen blue Toyota Camry reported out of Fort Lauderdale.
Warrant Arrests – W. Atlantic Blvd and East Palm Drive:
Matthew Fretzner, 41 — criminal use of personal identification and felony petit theft.
Kory Manning, 26 — possession of PVP and possession of cannabis.
Fleeing and Eluding / No Driver’s License / Possession of Cocaine – 105 S. State Road 7:
Jose Contreras, 53, was arrested on multiple charges.
DUI Refusal – 1500 N. State Road 7:
Leslie Pounders, 51, was arrested for DUI refusal.
Possession of Cocaine – Banks Road:
Joyce Wilson, 64, was arrested after cocaine was found in the pocket of her robe during a domestic dispute.
Armed Vehicle Burglary / Resisting Without Violence / Possession of Firearm by Minor – Lake Circle Drive Area:
Jadarian Rush, 16, was arrested after committing multiple vehicle burglaries. He was taken into custody following a perimeter search and foot chase.
Warrant (Prostitution) – 6000 W. Atlantic Blvd:
Alexis Trinidad, 23, was arrested during a traffic stop for a tint violation after officers discovered an active warrant.
DUI – Royal Palm Blvd:
Tiffany Herridge, 27, was arrested for DUI.
Domestic Violence Battery – W. Hogan Creek Road:
Marie Augustin, 40, was arrested on a domestic battery charge.
Warrant / Suspended License – 1000 N. State Road 7:
Miguel Concepcion, 58, was arrested on a warrant for unpaid child support ($1,015 bond) and driving with a suspended license.
