Margate will soon welcome two new restaurants: Panda Express and Dunkin’ Donuts.
Panda Express will replace the former Boston Market building at 5681 West Atlantic Boulevard. Renovations and site modifications approved by the Board of Adjustment on April 7 will include major interior updates and new landscaping.
The building’s interior will undergo major renovations, and the property will need new landscaping.
Members of the Commission are excited about the new restaurant. “I am glad Panda Express is coming to Margate. This will be good for our city. Construction will begin soon, and it could be open by February,” said commissioner Tommy Ruzzano.
A new Dunkin’ Donuts is headed to 5300 Coconut Creek Parkway. On April 7, the planning and zoning board approved a special exception to allow a drive-thru at the location. The building was a bank and will be repurposed as a restaurant.
