A man was shot in Margate Monday by one of three attackers wearing ski masks at his front door, police records show.
The April 25 shooting happened at 3360 Banks Road, where the victim was confronted by three unidentified men in ski masks just outside his residence, according to Margate Police Department records.
One of the men, clad in an orange hoodie, pointed a gun at the victim’s head. The victim then “grabbed onto the firearm and while struggling to gain possession, a single gunshot was fired,” police wrote.
The bullet entered the victim’s lower abdomen, exited his abdomen, and entered his pelvic area. The suspects fled the scene, and the victim was rushed to North Broward Medical and in stable condition, according to police.
No arrests had been announced as of Thursday.
