Margate Commission Approves Improvements at Firefighter Park

Margate residents will see a new shade structure and other improvements at Firefighter Park/Dog Park.

During the March 5 meeting, the commission agreed to a resolution authorizing a $100,000 increase in the scope of the approved FRDAP grant project for improvements to the park.

The Paving Lady will complete the project, including installing shade structures, benches, trash receptacles, concrete pads, and new landscaping.

Firefighter Park is located at 2500 Rock Island Road.
