Al Cabrera is passionate about playing the piano and performing music. He is the band leader for the Cachet Band, which performed at Sounds at Sundown at the Margate Sports Complex on the evening of January 4.
According to Cabrera of Tamarac, Cachet has performed nationwide at city, county, and country club venues. The band performs various music, including disco, Top 40, Latin, and Motown. “We have a passion for music,” he said.
Sounds at Sundown is a free event for Margate residents that features live music, food trucks, and a pleasant social atmosphere. Family and friend groups of all ages brought lawn chairs and blankets. Most brought food and drink or bought dinner from the trucks. Children played together, and teens and adults enjoyed conversations.

Jason Henderson of Margate came with a group of his friends. “We enjoy being here and listening to a good band,” he said.
