Rock Island Road {David Volz}
Landscaping work is continuing along Rock Island Road.
During the February 4 meeting, City Manager Cale Curtis said that a $100,000 federal grant is financing the work.
The funds are being used to plant trees along Rock Island Road in Margate as part of larger irrigation and landscape improvements for the roadway. The grant has no matching requirement, according to Lisa Huriash, Margate’s spokesperson.
