Residents of Margate can responsibly dispose of old electronics and hazardous household items at a free disposal event hosted by the Department of Environmental & Engineering Services.
The Household Hazardous Waste and Electronics Disposal drive is held on Sunday, January 12, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Oriole Park at 7055 N.W. 1st Street in Margate.
Participants must show proof of Margate residency, and all items to be disposed of must be located in the vehicle’s hatch, trunk, or bed. No items will be removed from a car’s cabin, and attendees are asked to remain inside.
