A 34-year-old Margate mother was arrested Tuesday on a child neglect charge as authorities continue searching for her 10-year-old daughter, missing since June 21, according to court records.
Passha Davis appeared before a Broward County judge Wednesday, records show. Bond was set at $100,000, and she was ordered to wear an ankle monitor and undergo a mental health evaluation.
Additional information about her arrest was not immediately available.
Her daughter, Gabrielle Patricia Terrelonge, was last seen in Broward County wearing a white T-shirt, black long pants, and white Crocs. The girl, who is Black, stands 4 feet 8 inches tall, weighs 100 pounds and has shoulder-length black hair.
Her disappearance wasn’t reported until Oct. 29. A statewide Missing Child Alert was issued this week.
The FBI Miami Field Office, Margate Police, and Florida Department of Law Enforcement have said Gabrielle is at risk and may have traveled between Central and South Florida with relatives.
